The National Law Awareness Week falls on 25-26 October 2009. As part of the Bar Committee's activities, the Legal Aid Centre in Kuantan will be organising Legal Aid Clinics in the Magistrates Court Maran (26/10/09), Magistrates Court Pekan (27/10/09), Magistrates Court Rompin (28/10/09), Kuantan Courts (29/10/09), at Giant/East Coast Mall, Kuantan (30/10/09) and at the Orang Asli Village in Kg. Gumum, Tasik Chini (31/10/09). All volunteers of the Legal Aid Centre Kuantan who would like to take part in all/any one of these activities, please contact Cik Shikin at 09-5159244. |

The Bar Council has extended the application date for Sijil Annual Applications to 15 November 2009. Members who have yet to apply and/or pay for their subscriptions/ professional indemnity insurance, please do so by the deadline. |

The Temerloh Legal Aid Centre is organising a Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Dinner Gathering on 7 October 2009 at 8.00 p.m. at the Seri Malaysia Hotel, Temerloh. All LAC Volunteers who are registered with the Temerloh Legal Aid Centre are invited to attend this event. Dress Code: Traditional Malay Costume/Batik. |
