How Ong Toh of Messrs. How Ong Toh & Partners, passed away this morning after a long illness. The funeral procession will take place on Friday to leave the family home in Jerantut to Nirwana Memorial Park. How who is survived by his wife and 3 children, qualified from Lincoln's Inn, London and was called to the Malaysian Bar on 26 July 1986.

Larry Yeoh Soon Lai was also appointed as the Honorary Secretary for year 2009/2010. Members may forward their comments/feedback regarding problems encountered to the Honorary Secretary or to the respective Chairpersons of each subcommittee on or before 6 April 2009 so that the Committtee may raise the same with the relevant authorities.

The Pahang Bar members voted for their Committee for the year 2009-2010 at their AGM last Saturday (1/3/2009) held in M.S. Garden Hotel, Kuantan and R.Sarengapani was elected as the new Chairman for the year. Committee members elected were Mohd Suhaimi Ismail, Rizal Dato' Chek Hashim, Ong Siew Wan, Irwan Muzakkar bin Umar, Morieta binti Mohd Zain, Amalia binti Mohamed Said, Bob Arumugam, Arif Lokman bin Ubaidah,Julita Ilhani binti Abdul Jabbar and Syed Azimal Amir bin Syed Abu Bakar. Hon Kai Ping, an ex-Chairman of the Pahang Bar was also as the Bar Representative to the Bar Council.
