The Pahang Bar Annual Dinner 2008/2009 will be held on 27 February 2009 (FRIDAY) at 7.30 p.m. at M.S. Garden Hotel, Kuantan. Cost per person is RM85.00/per table is RM850.00. Please confirm your bookings by 13 FEBRUARY 2009 @ 12.00 P.M. by calling 09-5159244. Requests for vegetarian food must be made upon seat confirmation.

Scam emails alleging to be from Mr. Lim Kian Leong or Mr. Lim K Leong PDF Print E-mail

Please take note that emails are being sent out under Mr. Lim Kian Leong's name or his firm (Messrs. Lim Kian Leong & Co of the KL Bar) inviting individuals to participate in a scam involving the distribution of USD19 million allegedly left by a client who purportedly died on 12 March 2007. Mr. Lim believes that this is an impersonation of him using his name or his Firm's name with a view to cheating or to some criminal or illegal act. Please view his announcement at http://www.limkianleongandco.com. Should you receive any of these emails, kindly do the necessary to notify the authorities.

Dear members, the next time you have a case in Malacca Court, please take note of a reminder from the Malacca Bar Committee NOT to park your vehicles on the road shoulder outside the Malacca Court Complex as authorities have started issuing summonses to those who do. You may park your vehicles in the JAYA JUSCO carpark from 8.00 a.m. onwards.
