The Head Registrar of the Federal Court Malaysia has issued a circular dated 10 June 2008 informing that the mode of payment accepted at all court counters will only be cash, bank draft, money order and postal order. Payment by cheques will no longer be accepted. This order will be effective from 15 July 2008. |

Senior High Court Judge, Yang Arif Dato' Haji Abdul Halim bin Aman, advised all lawyers to maintain decorum in court especially to watch their use of words in Court and abide by the dress code. Yang Arif stated this in his speech during the ceremony for admission to the Bar of 3 pupils in chamber, Mohd Suhaimi Ismail, Mohd Izhan Razali and Wardah bt Faisol at the Temerloh High Court on 18/6/2008. Yang Arif also requested all Masters to introduce their pupils to the Senior Assistant Registrar and to Yang Arif well before their call to the Bar, as a courtesy to the Court and to build good relationships between lawyers and the Judiciary. Masters were also advised to attend the ceremonies of the admission to the Bar of their pupils and not to excuse themselves from attending the same. |

There will be no Sessions Court sittings in Temerloh, after the transfer of Tuan Ishak bin Bakri on 2 June 2008. However, please note that Tuan Azwa from Sessions Court Kuantan will be sitting on Thursday afternoons and Fridays for mentions until further notice. |
